Effective 19 October 2026 · Last updated 19 October 2026

In short. We collect what is needed to run your training log: your account details, the sessions, scores and target-card photos you record, and basic usage data so we can fix bugs and improve the app. We do not sell your data and we do not show ads. Your academy, coach or guardian only see what you have connected them to. You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time. Details below.

Each provider is bound by its own terms and security commitments. We may change providers and will update this list.

6. Children and guardians

People under 18 may use ShootMatrix only with verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian, as the DPDP Act requires. For minors we do not carry out tracking or behavioural monitoring and do not show targeted advertising. A guardian may review, correct and ask us to delete the minor's data, and may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us. If we learn we hold data of a child under 13, or of a minor without valid guardian consent, we will delete it.

7. Analytics, cookies and storage

We use your browser's local storage, and a small number of first-party cookies, to keep you signed in, remember in-progress onboarding, cache your profile for speed, and let the installed app work offline. These are strictly necessary and cannot be switched off without breaking the app.

We use PostHog to see aggregate behaviour such as how many people finish onboarding. We configure it to avoid automatic capture of clicks and text, to disable session recordings, and to identify you only by an opaque account ID, not your name or email. It may record your IP address and device type. You can limit this with your browser's tracking-protection or content-blocking settings; the app will keep working. We do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

8. How long we keep data

9. Security

We use reasonable security practices and procedures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), private (non-public) storage for target card photos, access controls and role-based permissions, secret management, and monitoring. No system is perfectly secure. If a personal-data breach affects you we will notify you and the relevant authority as the law requires. Keep your email and Google account secure, as they are the keys to your ShootMatrix account.

10. Where data is stored

Our database and file storage are hosted in Google Cloud's Delhi (India) region. Some providers, such as PostHog and Resend, may process limited data on servers outside India. Where data leaves India we use it only for the purposes above and rely on the providers' contractual and security commitments, as permitted by the DPDP Act.

11. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you have the right to:

You can edit much of your profile in the app. For anything else, or to delete your account, email us from the address on your account. We may need to verify your identity first. We will acknowledge within 7 days and respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India once it is operational.

12. Grievance and contact

13. Changes

We may update this policy as the Service or the law changes. We will change the date above and, for material changes, tell you in the app or by email before they take effect where practical. Continued use after an update means you accept it; if you disagree, stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account.
